22 Feb 2021 - 2021 Tasmanian Training Awards

Nominations for the 2021 Tasmanian Training Awards will open on Friday, 26 March and close on Friday, 28 May.  The 2021 presentation ceremony will be held on Friday, 10 September in Hobart.

This year there are nine individual categories, four business categories and one special award:

Student Awards
Apprentice of the Year
Trainee of the Year
Vocational Student of the Year
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Student of the Year
School-based Apprentice Trainee of the Year
VET Teacher/Trainer of the Year
VET in Schools Student of the Year*
Equity Apprentice/Trainee of the Year*
Equity Vocational Student of the Year*

Business Awards
Industry Collaboration Award
Small Employer of the Year
Employer of the Year
Training Provider of the Year

Special Award
The Trevor Leo Medal*

Full details, including nomination guides for each award, will be published in early March. Winners of aligned categories will be nominated for the Australian Training Awards to be held in Perth, WA in November.

*There are no national equivalents to the VET in Schools Student Award, the two Equity Awards and the Trevor Leo Medal.
