The Tasmanian Government funds TasTAFE through a deed arrangement with Skills Tasmania. TasTAFE is required to serve functions and objectives under the Tasmanian Training and Workforce Development Act 2013, and are guided by Ministerial policy expectations and the Ministerial Priorities for Training and Workforce Development. The funding provided to TasTAFE subsidises training places in line with the Ministerial Priorities to ensure Tasmanian's have access to training that will improve their employment opportunities and to build the capacity and capability of Tasmania’s workforce.
How do I become a Skills Tasmania Endorsed Registered Training Organisation?
