Workforce training consultancy service

Skills Tasmania offers a workforce training consultancy service throughout Tasmania.

Our Senior Apprenticeships Officers provide advice, assistance and guidance to apprentices and trainees and employers about the conditions of entering and maintaining a training contract, including the policies and guidelines of the Tasmanian Traineeships and Apprenticeships Committee (TTAC).

Senior Apprenticeships Officers:

  • provide an education service to apprentices and trainees, employers, Apprentice Connect Providers, Registered Training Organisations and other stakeholders regarding the apprenticeship and traineeship system
  • investigate and manage issues raised that may impact on the successful completion of an apprenticeship or traineeship
  • provide advice, conciliation and conflict-resolution services to resolve issues.
  • assess and investigate and subsequently approve or decline applications to amend a training contract.
